Create and edit home-screen forwarders that launch emulators and other apps with custom art, music and arguments.
Release notes
Theme music from YouTube with a live preview, and SwanStation as a target app.
Added
- Theme music search. "Selection music" can now come from a search: the app looks up "<game> Theme Music" on YouTube, the way SDH-GameThemeMusic does on the Steam Deck. L1 / R1 switch to the main menu, title screen or soundtrack searches.
- Listen first. Results open in a music-player screen. A track starts playing while it is still downloading, with pause, seek, previous / next, and a visualizer that follows the music.
- Use this track. The track's first 85 seconds become the tile's selection music, converted to ATRAC9 by ps5-forwarder.mph.am.
- The console needs internet access and a DNS that resolves youtube.com. Some jailbreak DNS servers block it; the app says so when that happens.
- (#21, by @heydemoura)
- SwanStation as a target app. Make PlayStation tiles for SwanStationPS5 (PPSA98510). Its first row, "Game", lists the games SwanStation finds, with their covers, and the tile starts straight into the chosen game. Needs SwanStationPS5 1.2.6 or later; older versions just open SwanStation. (#16, by @heydemoura)
Changed
- Music chooser. The "Selection music" row now opens a chooser, like the icon and background rows: search for theme music, or pick an audio file on the console. (#21)
- Music length. Converted music is cut to 85 seconds, since the forwarder format allows about 87. This applies to audio files picked on the console too. (#21)
Fixed
- Audio conversion of large files. An audio file over the converter's 2 MB limit now says so, instead of "Conversion HTTP 400". This is one cause of #18. (#21)
- Downloads on slow connections. Music downloads come in small pieces, each retried, and give up only when a download stalls for 20 seconds, instead of timing out. (#21)

Safety
- Leaves the sandbox
- 2 helper(s) not reviewed
- Released by a workflow
This app can get full access to the console, usually to read and write files outside its own folder. Install it only if you trust its developer.
It ships 2 helper program(s) that run outside the sandbox; 2 of them the catalog's maintainers have not read.
A workflow of the app's repository attached this file to the release. Nothing proves where it was built.
From an automatic scan of the release file, which is read and never run. It can miss things: it is not a guarantee. How the scan works
Install
Read the release notes and the project's documentation first. Some apps need extra setup, such as a payload, configuration or additional files, and the developer's instructions take precedence over the general steps below.
