Native PS5 port of OpenMW for Morrowind; requires your own Morrowind game data.

Release notes

Fixes the crash message when choosing Exit from the game menu. Thread-local cleanup now finishes before its memory is freed, and the game uses the PS5 system exit request. Loading a save and exiting cleanly was confirmed on firmware 9.00.

The home-screen and launch backgrounds now use the same Morrowind-themed artwork, replacing the template bear image. The artwork was generated with OpenAI; its source and prompt are included in the repository.

This update keeps the native keyboard, larger interface and controller pointer fixes from v1.0.0. Existing saves and game files are preserved. Close the game before updating.

Both ZIPs contain the same PS5 build with platform-specific upload helpers. You need your own Morrowind, Tribunal and Bloodmoon Data Files. Source, manifests and SHA-256 checksums are included.
