Release notes
Polish and speed: faster artwork, names in more languages, and a calmer look.
What's new
- Faster artwork. Covers download over connections kept open per image server, launch waits only for the first screen's covers, and Home and Library fetch the rest ahead of you. Launch is about 2 seconds quicker and covers load about a quarter faster; scrolling stays smooth.
- Names in more languages. Accented letters (Göransson, São Paulo), Greek and Cyrillic now show instead of
?. Malayalam titles are shaped properly, with joined letters and vowel signs in their right place. - Button hints in Spot5's own style on every screen, with lists fading out under them.
- No surprise playback after pairing. Music moved to the console when you log in from your phone starts paused.
- Now Playing shows artwork at once, using a smaller copy until the full-size cover arrives.
- Clear cache no longer freezes the screen.
- Settings › About shows the version as
1.1.0.

You need a jailbroken PS5 that runs homebrew (tested on firmware 13.00) with an ELF loader on port 9021, a Spotify Premium account, and a phone on the same network. See the README for details.

?.

- Built by the developer
This app can get full access to the console, usually to read and write files outside its own folder. Install it only if you trust its developer.
It ships 1 helper program(s) that run outside the sandbox; 1 of them the catalog's maintainers have not read.
The developer built and uploaded this file by hand. Nothing ties it to the published source.
From an automatic scan of the release file, which is read and never run. It can miss things: it is not a guarantee. How the scan works
