Media player for PS5 that plays video from USB or internal storage, with hardware decoding up to 4K, 10-bit HDR and surround audio.
Release notes
Your receiver decodes it, and your phone does the typing. 0.12.0 sends Dolby and DTS audio to a soundbar or AV receiver untouched, lets you type server addresses and addon links from a phone browser instead of the pad, and adds removal to the Stremio addons screen.
Download PPSA99039.ffpfsc and deploy it with ShadowMountPlus, or the folder-title .zip, then launch EVO from the Games row. Or install it straight from the console with ProsperoStore, the native PS5 app store for homebrew.page. Runs on any jailbroken PS5 below firmware 13.60.

Sound
- Audio passthrough. Settings → Audio →
AUDIO PASSTHROUGHsends Dolby Digital, Dolby Digital Plus (including Atmos), DTS and AAC over HDMI as the original bitstream, so your soundbar or receiver does the decoding instead of EVO. It is the same output mode the PS5's own media apps use. Confirmed on a PS5 Pro on firmware 12.70 with a soundbar: the receiver showed the format and played it. The receiver's Atmos indicator was not checked. - Dolby TrueHD passthrough (experimental). Sent as MAT over the console's 768 kHz system audio port, the route Sony's Blu-ray player uses. It plays in the standalone research app and the receiver shows "Dolby Audio", not yet "Dolby TrueHD". It has not been run inside EVO on a console yet.
- Switching between formats no longer leaves the receiver stuck on the previous one: each stream is wrapped in short silent bursts and the close, reset and next open are spaced out. AAC passthrough also pads its frames to a whole 16-bit word, which receivers require.

Safety
- Leaves the sandbox
- Released by a workflow
This app can get full access to the console, usually to read and write files outside its own folder. Install it only if you trust its developer.
A workflow of the app's repository attached this file to the release. Nothing proves where it was built.
From an automatic scan of the release file, which is read and never run. It can miss things: it is not a guarantee. How the scan works

Read the release notes and the project's documentation first. Some apps need extra setup, such as a payload, configuration or additional files, and the developer's instructions take precedence over the general steps below.
